Do you take walk-ins?
- Yes! We take walk-ins on a first come-first served basis. You may want to call the shop before heading over. Appointments may be required for larger, custom, or detailed pieces. It is recommended to make an appointment, but we always do our best to accommodate walk-ins.
Does your shop offer piercings?
- We do not offer any piercing services in our shop.

How do I make an appointment?
- It is recommended to contact your artist directly to set up appointments, as each artist handles their own schedule. Most of our artists require a non-refundable deposit that goes toward the cost of the tattoo. Contact your artist here or contact the shop if you have not chosen an artist already or can not reach your artist.
Do you accept credit/debit cards?
- We accept most major credit cards and debit cards.
Can I bring someone with me while I get tattooed?
- We ask that you arrive at your appointment alone. Additional people may be allowed in our lobby area but are not permitted in the tattoo area. We do not allow children under 16 years old or pets in our lobby.
Does a tattoo hurt?
- Everyone’s reaction to the tattoo experience is different. There is discomfort that comes with getting tattooed, but you can minimize the discomfort by coming to your appointment prepared.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Eat before your tattoo session. Get a good night's rest the night before, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol the day before and day of your appointment, avoid getting tattooed while sunburnt, and wear appropriate clothing.
Is it really permanent?
- Tattoos are permanent but ink could possibly fade with time depending on the person, aftercare, and exposure to sunlight
Is it safe?
- Any puncture to the skin allows risk for infection. It is important that you take care of your tattoo as recommended. Our artists use sterile, single-use, disposable needles, ink, and equipment to ensure the safety of our clients.
How does it work?
- Permanent ink is injected into the second layer of the skin (the dermis) by a sterile, single-use, disposable needle.
What if I can't decide what I want?
- We have 8 artists who can consult with you to bring your tattoo idea to life. Some of our artists also have pre-drawn available designs you may choose from.
What should I consider when choosing/designing a tattoo?
- Consider placement, size, detail, and which artist you would like to work with. Keep in mind that the smaller the design, the less detail that the artist can put into the tattoo.
Can I come to check out the shop before booking/setting up a consultation?
- Yes! Feel welcome to stop by and check out the shop and meet our artists before you decide to book a consultation or appointment.
Do I need an appointment for a consultation?
- While not required, we recommend calling ahead of time to ensure that your artist is available to consult with you. Call (772) 232-4141.
Do I need an appointment for a tattoo?
- While not always required, we recommend you set up an appointment for your tattoo session. We do accept walk-ins, however, it is on a first-come-first-served basis. We can not guarantee availability for walk-ins and larger, custom, and more detailed pieces may require an appointment.
How do I know my artist is reputable?
- It is important to research your artist and the work that they have done before they do your tattoo. Check out our artists: Heidi Gotz, Kenny Dick, Annibelle Hetrick, and Pamela Noguera.
How much does it cost?
- Our shop minimum is $80, prices begin at the minimum and vary depending on size, placement, detail, and artist. Some tattoos are charged at a flat rate and some are hourly. Artists may have pre-drawn available designs for a flat rate.
Can I get a tattoo over a scar/stretch mark/birthmark?
- It depends on the size, age, and degree of the scar tissue. It is best to come in and consult with an artist in person when planning a tattoo over an area that is scarred.
What kind of inks do we use?
- Our artists use the highest quality inks available. We only use ink brands that are sterile and reputable for their quality and consistency. Some brands we use are Eternal Ink, Fusion Ink, Dynamic Ink, and Intenze Ink.
Who should not get a tattoo?
- You should not get a tattoo if you are ill, on certain medications such as blood thinners or antibiotics, have certain medical conditions, have certain communicable diseases such as the flu or COVID-19, pregnant, breastfeeding, sunburnt, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
How old do you have to be to get tattooed?
- You must be 18 years old to get a tattoo. Minors see FAQ below.
I am a minor (16 or 17 years old), can I get a tattoo?
- 16 and 17-year-old minors may get tattooed with parental/guardian consent. A minor form must be obtained from the shop and notarized with a legal parent/guardian the day of the tattoo. Government ID for both minor and parent/guardian will be needed along with the notarized forms before getting tattooed.
How can I view artist portfolios?
- View our artist’s portfolios on our website: Heidi Gotz, Kenny Dick, Annibelle Hetrick, Pam Noguera, Instagram or on our Facebook page. We offer a portfolio book selection in our shop that includes available designs.
What if I am going to be late to my appointment, need to cancel, or reschedule?
- Please reach out to your artist directly as soon as you know. If you can not get a hold of your artist or do not have contact information for your artist, please call the shop at (772) 232-4141. If you fail to let your artist know that you can not make it to your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
Should I tip my artist?
- Tips are greatly appreciated. The amount of a tip is at the discretion of the client.
How do I care for my new tattoo?
- Your artist will go over the aftercare instructions at the end of the tattoo session and an aftercare card will be given to take home. You can also view the recommended aftercare instructions here. We offer several aftercare products in the shop if you would like to purchase one, but it is not necessary to use these products.
Can I get my new tattoo wet?
- Yes, you will need to wash it several times a day as it is healing, however, avoid submerging your new tattoo in water (baths, pools, ocean) for the first two to three weeks. See recommended aftercare instructions.
Can I be in the sun after getting my new tattoo?
- While your tattoo is healing, minimize exposure to sunlight. Do not use pools, oceans, or beaches for the first two to three weeks after you get your tattoo. We HIGHLY recommend you use sunscreen on your tattoo even after it is fully healed to ensure the longevity of your tattoo. See recommended aftercare instructions.
Do you sell aftercare in your shop?
- We have two aftercare products for sale in our shop- they include Reborn Tattoo Aftercare and After Inked Tattoo Lotion. Pricing varies per size of the container.
